Hey, its Jax. Born and raised under that BIG MONTANA SKY. The way of life I enjoyed as a kid is becoming a relic of the past... BUT, it doesn't have to be that way! Hard work, discipline, happiness, physical/mental fortitude, and resiliency. All principles being taught less and less in our day and time.

MY life has led me down many paths. As a young feller I spent every moment I could riding with my dad, "Rooster", in his old cabover freightliner hauling hogs back east to South Dakota. It didn't take long before he had me behind the wheel. Those years instilled a love of big trucks and being on the road. By the time I was 13 I began working 16 hour summer days for a local farmer, irrigating his crops. There I learned even more about heavy equipment operation, backhoes, hay swathers, MORE SEMIS, bulldozers, and grain combines.

All those experiences gave me a solid foundation for things to come. A two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, a family cattle ranch, a career as a livestock auctioneer, and later the development and operation of a trucking business. Most recently, we've created our family band, "The Sightliners", named after the old International cabover truck.

As an adult now with kids of my own, I realize the importance of passing these age old lessons down the line. If not shared, they will be lost.

Perhaps others may draw inspiration or motivation through following along my YouTube channel @WildWildWest or Instagram @shumunush

If nothing else, you'll get a good laugh.
